Hegele Gets Short, Doubles Up

Level 23 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Robin Hegele got short by losing a big hand against Tom Braband. Hegele pushed all-in with {Q-Spades}{9-Diamonds} on the button. He got called by Braband with {A-Spades}{8-Spades} and the board ran out {10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{2-Spades}{A-Diamonds}. Hegele was left with 18,000.

In the next hand he doubled up with {K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} against, again, {A-Spades}{8-Spades}. That board ran out {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{K-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and Hegele doubled back up to a whole lot more than he had.

Level 23 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Kathy Liebert raised to 35,000 from the cutoff and Grzegorz Wyraz pushed all-in for 83,000 from the button. Liebert called once the dealer confirmed the amount Wyraz had.

Kathy Liebert: {K-Hearts}{Q-Spades}
Grzegorz Wyraz: {A-Clubs}{9-Spades}

The runout was {8-Spades}{2-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and Wyraz secured a double up through Liebert.

Staszko Doubles Hunt Up

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

The flop read {6-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts} with about 30,000 in the middle and Martin Staszko had bet. Matthew Hunt shoved all in for 149,000 in total. Staszko insta-called.

Matthew Hunt: {6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}
Martin Staszko: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}

Hunt had flopped top pair with the sixes and Staszko had the overpair with his pocket aces.

The rest of the board was completed with the {5-Hearts} on the turn to give Hunt two pair. The river was the meaningless {8-Diamonds} and Hunt doubled up.
