Lucky Hand for Diehl

Level 8 : 250/500, 100 ante

The two players were already all in when we got to the table. According to the players, Matthew Diehl three-bet his opponent's preflop raise and the latter called. On a flop of {9-Spades}{j-Spades}{j-Clubs}, Diehl called his opponent's bet.

Things heated up on the {a-Diamonds} turn. Diehl raised all-in over the top of his opponent bet and the latter called. Holding {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}, Diehl was in desperate shape to win the hand, facing his opponent's {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}t, but a {j-Hearts} on the river saved Diehl, giving him quad jacks. His unfortunate opponent was sent into the rail.
