5 p.m. Start for Day 1d of the $565 COLOSSUS No-Limit Hold��em
Welcome to Day 1d of Event #7: $565 COLOSSUS No-Limit Hold��em which begins play at 5 p.m. at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino. The first three flights have collected a total of 5,473 runners. Currently leading the way into Day 2 is Tony Parille with 607,000 in chips which he managed to earn during Day 1A. Second in the overall chip counts is Christopher Haydt who bagged 419,000. Closing the podium in third place is Patrick Roteman who took 381,000 with him into Day 2.
There will be two more starting flights after today with Day 1e at 10 a.m. and Day 1f starting at 5 p.m. tomorrow. Each Day 1 will play 18 30-minute levels, with a 20-minute break happening after every four levels. The blinds will commence at 25/50 and players will start with a stack of 5,000. The late registration and reentry period will be open for the first eight levels (~9:40 p.m.).
Players who make it through to Day 2 on Tuesday, June 5 at 2 p.m., will play ten 60-minute levels before bagging for Day 3 on Wednesday, June 6. The PokerNews team will be bringing you all live updates from the WSOP floor so stay tuned.
