Paul Fontan Eliminated in 10th Place ($24,147); Eric Hicks Eliminated in 9th Place ($30,881)

Aliaksei Boika raised to 80,000 from under the gun and Eric Hicks three-bet shoved 575,000 from middle position. Paul Fontan, short-stacked, went deep in the tank in the big blind.

"Come on guys, it's a turbo! When am I allowed to call the clock?" an anxious Hicks said, who was already standing up. Eventually, Fontan called all in and Boika snap-called as well.

Paul Fontan: {K-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}
Eric Hicks: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}
Aliaksei Boika: {K-Spades}{K-Clubs}

The flop came down {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}{8-Clubs}, keeping Boika in the lead. The dealer waited for the cue to deal the turn, which took some time.

"Ahh, this is excruciating!" Hicks said, bouncing around.

The turn was the {J-Hearts}, giving Fontan a lifeline.

Once again, the dealer took a long pause before revealing the {6-Clubs} on the river. With that, Boika secured the double knockout.

"All this way just for that," Hicks said before bowing out. Fontan, as the shorter stack, received $24,147, while Hicks finished in 9th place for $30,881.

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Petar Kalev
Petar Kalev

Matt Glantz raised to 200,000 from the small blind and Petar Kalev shoved for 280,000 from the big blind. Glantz called.

Petar Kalev: {J-Spades}{2-Spades}
Matt Glantz: {J-Hearts}{4-Clubs}

The flop came {10-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} to give them both a pair of jacks. Kalev needed a deuce to win the pot.

The turn brought them the {k-Hearts} and it looked like the pair was heading towards a split pot.

The {4-Diamonds} on the river, however, brought the win to Glantz to eliminate Kalev from the tournament in 11th place.

A redraw for the unofficial final table will take place now.

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

In the first hand, Ralph Wong shoved 300,000 from the small blind and Paul Fontan folded his big blind. The hand after, Wong shoved 365,000 on the button and Fontan reshoved from the small blind to put Wong at risk.

Ralph Wong: {A-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
Paul Fontan: {K-Spades}{Q-Spades}

The {A-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} flop all but decided it and the {7-Diamonds} turn secured it for Wong, making the {2-Hearts} river merely for the statistics.

Quads for Hicks

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Ralph Wong shoved from the cutoff and Eric Hicks called all in from the small blind.

Eric Hicks: {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}
Ralph Wong: {A-Clubs}{7-Hearts}

There was more than enough for Hicks on a {J-Spades}{K-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{10-Spades}{K-Clubs} board, giving him quad kings to double. A friend of Hicks watched it unfold from the rail and Hicks stood up.

"Can you take a picture real quick? Quads is the game, easy game!" Hicks laughed as he posed with a big grin for the picture.

Alan Sternberg raised to 65,000 from the under-the-gun position and action folded to Phil Hellmuth on the button who three-bet to 180,000. Sternberg called.

The flop came {7-Spades}{9-Spades}{j-Hearts} and both players checked to the {j-Spades} on the turn. Sternberg bet 200,000 and Hellmuth leaned back in his chair, then sat up straight again. He looked at the board and Sternberg, glanced at his cards and then open-folded {6-Spades}{6-Clubs}.
