Esfandiari Wins First Hand

Level 1 : 75/150, 0 ante
Antonio Esfandiari
Antonio Esfandiari

Antonio Esfandiari just took his seat next to Frank Kassela in the Amazon Orange section. Esfandiari came in as the big blind and Kassela folded under the gun. Kalidou Sow was in the next seat and he raised to 325. Edward Shelmerdine V called and it folded all the way around to Esfandiari. Esfandiari three-bet to 1,525 and both players called.

The flop was {7-Clubs}{A-Spades}{8-Hearts} and Esfandiari continued with a bet of 1,275 and both players called again. The turn was the {3-Hearts} and all checked to see the {5-Clubs} river complete the board. All checked again and Esfandiari said "ship it" as he tabled {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}.

The pot was awarded to him after both Sow and Shelmerdine V mucked their hands.
