Vecino Chips Up Even More
Juan Vecino seems to be the new chip leader in the Amazon purple section. He is seated at the table with 2014 Main Event finalist Billy Pappas and they got involved in a six-way pot.
Pappas raised from the under-the-gun position to 3,000 and he got called by five players, including Vecino in late position and both players in the blinds.
The flop came down 
and they checked it around to Vecino and he put in a bet of 6,200. All the players folded, except for the player in the small blind.
The turn was the 
and the player in the small blind check-called a bet of 21,500 from Vecino.
The 
river completed the board and after the player in the small blind checked again it was Vecino with a bet of 33,000. It took Vecino's opponent a while but he eventually made the call, but he mucked his hand when he saw Vecino open up 
.
Vecino now has well over 350,000 and he is most likely the chip leader in the purple section and ranks among the top counts in the entire Day 2c field.
