Phil Hellmuth

Over on the secondary feature table, Phil Hellmuth's stack dropped below ten big blinds and in one of the hands he defended the big blind against a raise by Jans Arends. Hellmuth checked it down on an ace-high board and showed {3-Spades}{3-Clubs} and Arends claimed the pot with the {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}.

After going through the blinds, Hellmuth eventually moved all in for 23,000 and Martin Poelzl called in the big blind with the {K-Hearts}{9-Hearts}. Hellmuth turned over the {A-Clubs}{J-Spades} and the board came {8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{2-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} to let Hellmuth double.

The table big stacks are Ray Attiyah and Steve Billirakis.
