Hands #267-269: Cynn Check-Raises the Flop

Level 41 : 1,000,000/2,000,000, 300,000 ante

Hand #267: A walk for John Cynn.

Hand #268: Cynn raised it up to 5 million and Tony Miles called to see a flop of {10-Spades}{5-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}, prompting a quick check from Miles. Cynn bet 4 million and Miles called. On the {A-Spades} turn, Miles checked again and Cynn checked behind. The {2-Hearts} fell on the river and both players checked. The pot was sent to Miles, who had tabled the {Q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}, and his rail started cheering.

Hand #269: Miles raised it up to 6 million and Cynn called. The flop came {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{J-Spades} and Cynn quickly checked. Miles made it 8 million to go and Cynn gave it some thought before check-raising to 19.5 million. That won the pot right there, as Miles tossed his cards into the muck.
