Garcia and Eibinger in the Lead

Matthias Eibinger raised to 9,000 and Zachary Clark three-bet to 30,000 in order to pick up a call by Eibinger. They checked down the {q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} flop and the {k-Hearts} turn. On the {2-Clubs} river, Clark bet 60,000 and Eibinger quickly folded.

On the other side of the table, Cord Garcia has turned his chip deficit into a solid lead by taking down plenty of pots. Just now, he lost one of them to see Ricky Guan pull back a few chips. On the {q-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{4-Clubs} flop, both checked and did so again on the {9-Spades} turn. Garcia bet the {2-Clubs} river for 15,000 and Guan called.

Garcia annnounced king-high and flashed {k-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}, which Guan had beat with {a-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}.

"A bit too ambitious," Garcia grinned.
