Hands #299-303: Korenev Doubles, Slips Back

Level 32 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Roman Korenev
Roman Korenev

Hand #299: Jared Koppel shoved all in from the small blind and Roman Korenev snap-called all in for 3,030,000 in the big blind.

Roman Korenev: {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs}
Jared Koppel: {q-Diamonds}{3-Spades}

The {k-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} flop kept Korenev in the lead, and the {8-Spades} turn was safe for him too. Korenev only needed to fade the queen with a trey and did so as the river {5-Hearts} fell to double up.

Hand #300: Korenev limped the button, Koppel made it 800,000 to go, Korenev limp-shoved all in for 6,250,000 but Koppel wasn't interested.

Hand #301: Koppel raised to 500,000 and Korenev called. The flop was {a-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{7-Spades} and Korenev check-called 450,000 from his nemesis. The turn was the {7-Clubs} and Koppel bet one million straight. Korenev once again stuck around.

The river brought the {q-Spades} and Korenev checked a third time. Koppel barreled a third time, going for 1,800,000, and Korenev gave it up.

Hand #302: Korenev limped the button and Koppel checked. The flop brought {k-Clubs}{j-Spades}{10-Clubs} and Korenev bet 200,000. Koppel check-raised all in and Korenev folded.

Hand #303: Koppel raised to 500,000 and won the hand.
