Everybody Wants a Shot at Layne Flack
Layne Flack's presence is providing for a lively table at Pavilion Black #185.
Lance Tahata tripled up in a three-way hand against Flack and one other opponent, reraising for the last of his 90,000 chips on a flop of and getting calls from both the hijack, and Flack on the cutoff.
The turn came the , and the hijack bet 100,000, which Flack called. The river came the , each player put another 100,000 in the side pot, and both turned over to chop up the side chips. Tahata got the best of it, however, turning over and getting just about the best possible result from his all-in move.
Elsewhere at the same table, Ernie Gormaz said he took 200,000 off of Flack in an earlier pot, with his taking down when a queen hit on the flop for a set. Gormaz noted that Flack played the hand well and lost the "bare minimum."
