No-Limit 2-7 Draw

Phil Hui raised his button to 45,000, Ryan Hughes called, and they both pitched one.

Hughes led out 70,000 and Hui snap-called.

"Jack," Hughes announced and Hui immediately turned up {10-}{9-}{8-}{3-}{2-} for the winner.

Hughes' Three Shells Get Paid Off

Level 24 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

Ryan Hughes raised his button to 32,000 and Loren Klein called in the big blind. Hughes barrelled the {q-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{10-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{7-Spades} board and Klein paid all three bets, check-calling 30,000 on the flop, then 90,000 on the turn, and finally 250,000 on the river.

Hughes tabled {q-Spades}{8-Clubs} and Klein didn't have a queen or better, so he sent his cards into the muck.

Hui Makes a Hero Call

Level 24 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

There was about 150,000 in the pot and the board read {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and Phil Hui sat in the big blind while he faced a bet from Ryan Hughes in the small blind.

The bet that Hughes had put in the middle was 165,000 and it was testing Hui. He counted his own multiple times before eventually calling it off.

Hughes showed {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and Hui won the pot with {j-Hearts}{4-Hearts}.

Much Ado About Nothing

Level 24 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Big O

Phil Hui limped in the small blind, Loren Klein potted for 48,000, and Hui called.

Hui checked the {q-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{k-Hearts} flop and called when Klein fired 60,000.

The {2-Clubs} turn saw Hui check again and Klein potted. Hui raised all in and Klein was ready to go.

Klein: {k-Clubs}{q-Spades}{6-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{2-Hearts}
Hui: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}{q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{2-Spades}

Both players had top two but Klein also had a flush draw.

The {a-Hearts} river pushed Hui towards the high half of the pot but Klein finished with a low and they chopped it up.

"F**k off," Ryan Hughes laughed.

Arthur Morris Eliminated in 4th Place ($34,328)

Pot-Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

Ryan Hughes raised to 32,000 from the cutoff and big blind Arthur Morris raised to 135,000 which was all in. Hughes said he had a really pretty Big O hand and Morris replied with ''That's good, that means you have aces''. Hughes called after a while and they started drawing.

Morris drew two and Hughes drew three in the first round. Morris only drew one in the second round and Hughes still drew three. Morris then announced he would still draw one in the final round and Hughes stood pat and tabled {7-}{6-}{5-}{4-}{2-}.

Morris showed {7-}{5-}{3-}{2-} and he was drawing to a wheel, needing a four or a six to double. The card he drew had two pips on the side and the suit wasn't on the table but when he opened it up it was the {7-} and he paired up to be eliminated in fourth place for $34,328.

Joey Couden Eliminated in 5th Place ($23,622)

Level 24 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Joey Couden
Joey Couden

Pot-Limit Omaha

Arthur Morris limped under the gun, Joey Couden overlimped on the button, and Ryan Hughes and Phil Hui joined them to the flop for the minimum price.

The flop fell {8-Spades}{5-Clubs}{j-Hearts} and the action was checked to Couden who potted. Hughes folded, Hui raised, getting rid of Morris, and Couden called for his remaining chips.

Couden held {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{6-Clubs} and Hui showed {j-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}.

The {q-Spades} landed on the turn and Couden was drawing very thin as he could only hope for a ten to chop. He wouldn't get one as the {j-Diamonds} hit the felt, and Hui busted him in fifth place.
