Its time for Day 2 of Event #51: $2,500 Mixed Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better, Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better, when, at 2 p.m. this afternoon, 128 players will return with the hopes of playing through another ten levels to accomplish the ultimate goal of winning a WSOP gold bracelet and $213,750.

After Day 1, there was a virtual three-way tie at the top of the leaderboard, with Russian Andrey Zaichenko (135,700) just ahead of the Americans Shaun Deeb (134,700) and Tom Schneider (134,200).

The rest of the field contains notables such as Roland Israelashvili (117,700), Eli Elezra (87,300), and Dzmitry Urbanovich (85,500) in the thick of things with sizeable stacks. There are also a lot of bracelet winners coming in with shorter stacks, with Brandon Shack-Harris (31,000), Marco Johnson (30,600), WSOP Player of the Year 2019 contender Dan Zack (29,300), and Owais Ahmed (25,600) just a few of the many household names entering the day with hopes of running their below-average stacks up into contention.

Players will return to limits of 2,000/4,000 for the beginning of Level 11. There are 10 one-hour levels scheduled for the day, with 15-minute breaks after every two levels and a one-hour dinner break after Level 16. The bubble will burst at some point through the day, with 61 players set to make it in the money.

Who will make it through to Day 3? PokerNews will be covering all the action as that question is answered in the exciting nature of mixed game poker.
