Flashback: 2016 Colossus Winner Ben Keeline
The second instalment of the Colossus was held in 2016 and attracted 21,613 entries, the second most in live tournament poker history behind the inaugural running of the tournament.
This huge field generated a prize pool of $10,806,500 and at the end of it all, Ben Keeline was the man to take down the title, the bracelet and $1,000,000.
"Im elated. I cant even think about what this means, not just the money, but the gold bracelet," said Keeline. "This is something I could not have imagined would happen just a few days ago. Sure, I thought it could happen and I thought I could win if I played well, but to have it go the way it went, well C thats more than I express how I feel right now."
Since 2016, Keeline has continued to grind away on the WSOP Circuit. Earlier this summer he finished fourth in Event #48: $2,500 No-Limit Hold'em for $133,306, his biggest cash since taking down the Colossus three years ago.
