Hands #107-109: Pillai Takes From Nguyen

Level 23 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Hand #107: Tommy Nguyen raised to 145,000 from the small blind and Shankar Pillai called from the big blind. Players saw a flop of {j-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} and Nguyen bet 150,000. Pillai called. The turn came the {6-Hearts} and Nguyen continued with another bet of 420,000 that was enough to claim the pot.

Hand #108: Michael Gagliano got a walk.

Hand #109: Pillai raised to 85,000 on the button and Nguyen three-bet to 275,000 from the big blind. Pillai stuck around with a call. The flop came {j-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} and was checked through to the {q-Clubs} turn and to the {9-Spades} river Nguyen checked once more and Pillai fired 400,000. Nguyen went deep into the tank then made the call. Pillai showed {k-Spades}{j-Clubs} for a pair of jacks and Nguyen mucked.
