McCain Finds Life

Level 2 : 100/200, 0 ante

Jonathan McCain opened to 700 from under the gun and Scott Bohlman called from the hijack. The small blind called and the big blind put in a three-bet to the minimum, 1,200. McCain went all in for 1,700, with an effective minimum four-bet. Bohlman thought for a bit and eventually folded. The small blind called the 1,700 and the big blind announced a pot-sized reraise. The isolation raise worked, getting the small blind out of the pot to run the cards in a heads up situation where McCain could find more than a triple.

Jonathan McCain: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}
Daniel Laidlaw: {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}

The board ran out {6-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{6-Spades}{k-Hearts}{4-Spades} and McCain took down the pot with his trip sixes.
