Top Pair Good for Hall

Level 12 : 1,500/3,000, 350 ante

Galen Hall min-raised to 6,000 from under the gun and it was called by Marko "karabaja987" Duric on the button and the player in the big blind.

Hall led out for 5,488 after the action checked over to him on the {j-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} flop and got a single call from Duric.

Both players checked again after the {6-Hearts} came on the turn.

The {3-Diamonds} paired the board on the river and Hall bet 12,000. Duric called and lost the hand when his {8-Spades}{8-Clubs} was no good against Hall's {q-Diamonds}{j-Spades}.

Negreanu Soars with Rockets

Level 11 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Sergio "TugaStalion" Coutinho opened from the button to 5,040. Daniel Negreanu three-bet to 14,160 from the small blind.

Coutinho four-bet jammed more than covering the 66,608 Negreanu had remaining and "Kid Poker" made the snap-call.

Daniel Negreanu: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}
Sergio "TugaStalion" Coutinho: {2-Spades}{2-Clubs}

The {9-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{8-Spades}{4-Spades} board proved to be no problem for Negreanu and he doubled up his stack.
