Level 5 : 150/300, 0 ante
Anthony Zinno
Anthony Zinno

John "iwonwow" Botticello limped from early position and Anthony "heheh" Zinno three-bet to 1,350 from the button. Both blinds folded, Botticello called, and the flop came down {3-Spades}{j-Clubs}{8-Spades}.

Botticello check-called a bet of 300 and then checked the {5-Hearts} turn. Zinno bet all in for 1,808 and Botticello called.

Anthony "heheh" Zinno: {a-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}
John "iwonwow" Botticello:{k-Spades}{k-Hearts}{6-Spades}{4-Diamonds}

Zinno had a pair of fives but was drawing slim to Botticello's pocket kings and open-ended straight draw. the {9-Clubs} river was a brick and Botticello won the pot while Zinno quickly rebought back to a 20,000 starting stack.

Kim Rebuys After Negreanu Cracks his Aces

Level 5 : 150/300, 0 ante

"PHsGoldShoes" limped in under the gun and Daniel "DNegs" Negreanu raised to 600 next to act.

Chan "Rikishi" Kim called sitting behind Negreanu and action folded to "PLOcoin" who three-bet to 900 on the button.

Ross "bigross888" Ward called form the small blind as did Negreanu after "PHsGoldShoes" folded, and action was back on Kim who four-bet to 4,800.

"PLOcoin" called, as did Negreanu after Ward folded, bringing the three players to see a {10-Hearts}{2-Spades}{8-Clubs} flop.

Negreanu check-called Wards 13,888 all in bet while "PLOcoin" mucked their hand.

Chan "Rikishi" Kim: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{5-Spades}
Daniel "DNegs" Negreanu: {9-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Hearts}

Kim was ahead with his aces until the {9-Spades} appeared on the turn giving Negreanu the straight leaving Kim drawing dead.

Once the {4-Diamonds} completed the board on the river, Negreanu scooped the pot and Kim re-entered the tournament.

Peter "papichulo" Park Has to Top Off

Level 4 : 125/250, 0 ante

"Bellyflop84" limped from middle position and Nathan "surfbum" Gamble, who was a PLO8 bracelet earlier in the series, did the same from the button. The short-stacked Peter "papichulo" Park then checked his option from the big blind to bring about a flop of {q-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades}.

Park led out for 875 and both his opponents called to see the {8-Hearts} turn.

Park bet his last 1,298, "Bellyflop84" called, and Gamble popped it to 6,400. "Bellyflop84" got out of the way and the hands were turned up.

Nathan "surfbum" Gamble: {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}{4-Clubs}{7-Clubs}
Peter "papichulo" Park: {8-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{a-Spades}{k-Clubs}

Park had two pair but was drawing dead to the top set of Gamble, who was pushed the pot after the meaningless {5-Diamonds} was run out on the river.

Park opted to rebuy and was topped off with a fresh 20,000 starting stack.

Michael "Bballlind10" Lind opened for 500 and was called by Owais "Oerockets" Ahmed along with "ParTee" from the blinds.

The {3-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop was checked to Lind who continued for 900 and only Ahmed called from the small blind.

Once the {9-Hearts} appeared on the turn, Ahmed check-raised Lind's 1,800 bet to 8,700.

Lind three-bet to 15,600 and Ahmed called off their last 13,595.

Owais "Oerockets" Ahmed: {10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{8-Spades}{7-Clubs}
Michael "Bballlind10" Lind: {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{5-Hearts}

Ahmed was ahead with top two-pair and the {5-Spades} river didn't change a thing securing their double-up.

Sullivan Rebuys

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

Action on the table folded around to Kevin "DegenLen" Sullivan who raised to 900 from the cutoff and Chad "clayne" Layne three-bet to 3,100 from the small blind.

The big blind folded and action was back on Sullivan who jammed for his remaining 9,575, Layne called.

Chad "clayne" Layne: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{4-Spades}
Kevin "DegenLen" Sullivan: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}

Sullivan was behind and things got worse after the {7-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} flop gave Layne the straight.

The {2-Spades} turn left Layne drawing dead and he re-entered the tournament after the {3-Spades} completed the board on the river.

A Nice Pot for Iowa's Tim "Timmy2bet" Garles

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante
Tim Garles
Tim Garles

Last October at the World Series of Poker Circuit Horseshoe Southern Indiana in the Louisville area, more than a dozen gold ring events took place. In Event #9: $400 No-Limit Holdem, 123 entries created a $40,590 prize pool. Poker grinder Tim Garles from Des Moines, Iowa began day 2 as the chip leader and stayed there on his way to victory.

I have been working really hard, my coach is Jeff Fielder, Garles said after his win. I definitely have to thank him.

He added: I am just going to keep playing tournaments.

All told, Garles has $85,782 in lifetime live tournament earnings including second in the 2019 WSOPC Bicycle Casino $400 NLH Double Stack for $10,860 and third in the Horseshoe Council Bluffs Holiday Poker Classic for $9,944.

Garles, who hails from Iowa, just jumped into action today under the screen name "Timmy2bet" and is looking to compliment his ring win with a shiny gold bracelet. He was kind enough to share with us some shots from his AirBnB grind station.

In a recent hand, Garles limped from the hijack only to see Mark "NostraDonkus" Liedtke raise to 550 from the cutoff. "Alluck" called from the button, as did Eric "Stackattack5" Salazar from the big blind, and Garles called to make it four-way action to the {k-Clubs}{4-Spades}{a-Spades} flop.

All four players checked and then three more checks followed on the {4-Hearts} turn. "Alluck" took the opportunity to bet 1,150 and only Garles called to see the {2-Hearts} river.

Garles check-called a bet of 4,600 and "Alluck" showed {k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{8-Hearts}, which was no good as Garles had a boat with his {4-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{5-Clubs}.
