Kevin Erickson Leads The Final 16 in Event: #12 $1,500 Limit Hold'em; Bronshtein and Fox Still in Contention
Action for Event #12: $1,500 Limit Hold'em will kick off at 2 pm with Kevin Erickson leading the way with 1,435,000 chips, closely followed by Matt Lancaster with 1,240,000. Other names that remain in contention include two previous bracelet winners, Yuval Bronshtein(770,000) and Jorden Fox (300,000) who are both looking to get claim the second bracelet of their careers.
Day 2 action saw many notables bust before the money including, Barry Greenstein, Joseph Cheong, and Terrence Chan. 64 players made the money including Mori Eskandani in 52nd ($2,631), Joe McKeehen in 45th ($3,007), and Anthony Zinno in 38th ($3,007).
Rep Porter made the final two tables and busted in 18th place($4,232) when he lost most of his stack in boat over quads hand versus Tom McCormick(775,000).
The event in total brought out 422 entrants and the remaining players are guaranteed $4,232 with everyone eyeing the $124,371 and gold WSOP bracelet for first place. The limits are coming back at 30,000-60,000 with 60 minute levels and play is scheduled to go down until a winner.
