Monnette Calls Down Kurtzman

Level 19 : 15,000/25,000, 0 ante

John Monnette opened with a raise in the hijack and Eric Kurtzman called from the big blind. The flop came {10-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and Kurtzman checked to Monnette who threw in a bet. Kurtzman check-raised and Monnette called.

The {5-Clubs} hit the turn and Kurtzman led out with a bet this time. Monnette still called and the {6-Hearts} paired the board on the river. Kurtzman bet again and Monnette quickly called.

"King-high," Kurtzman announced. Monnette turned over {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} for two pair and was awarded the pot.
