Event #52: $1,000 Seniors No-Limit Hold��em Championship Day 2 Begins at 10:00 a.m.
Welcome to Day 2 of Event #52: $1,000 Seniors No-Limit Hold��em Championship of the 2021 World Series of Poker. This event starts at 10:00 a.m. local time inside the beautiful Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in sunny Las Vegas, NV.
Players from Day 1a and Day 1b will be combined to play a total of 10 levels today. The levels are 60-minutes long with a 15-minute break every 2 levels and a 60-minute dinner break after level 19 (~7:00 p.m.). Play will resume at level 12 with blinds at 1,000/2,000 with a 2,500 big blind ante with a total of 1,107 players.
In total, Day 1a and Day 1b produced a 5,404-entry field and generated a $4,809,560 prize pool. Of those players, 811 will make the money, with a min-cash being worth $1,601. The eventual winner will take home $561,060 in addition to a World Series of Poker gold bracelet.
Day 1a drew a total of 2,432 entries with only 466 players bagging at the end of the day. The top three chip stacks are George Bronstein (585,000), Tim Killday (433,000), and John Thornton (373,000). Poker Hall of Famer Jack McClelland (175,000), Women Poker Hall of Famer��s Kathy Liebert (105,000), and JJ Liu (170,000) also bagged at the conclusion of Day 1a.
Day 1b drew a total of 2,972 entries with only 621 players bagging at the end of the day. The top three chips stacks are Dany Georges (464,000), Scott Sisler (372,000), and Mike Ruter (345,000). The defending champion Howard Mash (127,000), Hall of Famer Barry Greenstein (156,500), and fan-favorite Allen Kessler (80,500) also bagged at the conclusion of Day 1b.
