Rachel Giacopuzzi Eliminated in 19th Place ($10,855)

Level 36 : 400,000/800,000, 800,000 ante
Rachel Giacopuzzi
Rachel Giacopuzzi

Anatolii Zyrin opened to 1,600,000 from under the gun and Rachel Giacopuzzi called from the small blind. The flop came {7-Clubs}{4-Spades}{2-Hearts} and Giacopuzzi led out for 1,600,000. Zyrin called and the {j-Spades} rolled off on the turn.

Giacopuzzi fired out another bet of 4,500,000 and Zyrin ripped all in. Giacopuzzi wasted little time before making the call and turned over {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}. Zyrin held {a-Spades}{j-Clubs} for a pair of jacks on the turn.

The river brought the {k-Clubs} and Zyrin held on to scoop a monster pot. After the chips were counted, Giacopuzzi was the player at risk for 20,800,000 and Zyrin barely had her covered.

Robert Mercer shoved all in for his last 3,300,000 chips from under the gun. Phuoc Nguyen just called on his left and the rest of the table got out of the way.

Robert Mercer: {a-Hearts}{8-Spades}
Phuoc Nguyen: {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

The flop came {k-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{7-Clubs} to give both players a pair, but Nguyen held the higher one with a pair of kings. The {4-Diamonds} and {4-Clubs} runout changed nothing and Mercer was eliminated.
