Cornell Stops the Bleeding

Michael Liang limped in on the button and Tyler Cornell check back the big blind. The flop came {4-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs} and Cornell checked to Liang who bet 250,000. Cornell then stuck in a check-raise to 800,000 but Liang still called.

The turn was the {k-Hearts} and Cornell pushed out a bet of 1,200,000. Liang called and the {4-Hearts} landed on the river. Both players knuckled the table. Liang was holding {q-Spades}{q-Hearts} but Cornell had {k-Spades}{6-Spades} for a pair of kings was awarded the pot.
