Christiano Doubles to Leave Marder Short

Level 6 : Blinds 150/300, 30 ante

Michael "ParxBigStax" Marder raised to 600 from the cutoff and Dominick "whoAMeye" Christiano three-bet to 2,400 from the button. The blinds got out of the way and action was heads up.

The flop was {8-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{6-Clubs} and Marder checked. Christiano bet 1,560 and Marder called to see {7-Spades} on the turn.

Marder checked once again and Christiano shoved his last 21,720. Marder called and turned over {j-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for the flush, while Christiano had {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds} for a set of queens.

The river was a {6-Hearts} and the board paired to make a full house for Christiano, who caught up to take a big pot and leave Marder with just above 5,000.

Bluffing Phil Ivey All In with Seven-High in a $200K Buy-In Tournament?

Level 6 : Blinds 150/300, 30 ante
Phil Ivey
Phil Ivey

Emptying the clip on a bluff with seven-high against Phil Ivey is a gutsy play, and that's exactly what Christoph Vogelsang attempted on Day 2 of the $200,000 buy-in Coin Rivet Invitational at Triton Poker Cyprus.

Ivey was on his second bullet after busting with a king-high flush against the nut flush of Linus Loeliger during the first level of Day 1. Vogelsang likely knew that and took that into consideration when he put the Poker Hall of Famer to the test.

Liebert Makes Three Sevens

Level 5 : Blinds 125/250, 25 ante

Ryan "gofeltafish" Eriquezzo raised to 650 from under the gun and Dennis "DentheZen14" Coleman called from the next seat over. Action folded around to Kathy "LuckyGal" Liebert on the button and she called.

The flop was {10-Clubs}{9-Spades}{q-Hearts} and all three players checked to see {7-Clubs} on the turn.

Liebert checked again and Eriquezzo bet 1,115. Coleman called and Liebert came along to the river.

The river was {7-Diamonds} and Liebert checked once more. Eriquezzo bet 4,257 and Coleman ducked out of the way before Liebert called. Eriquezzo had {k-Clubs}{q-Spades}, but Liebert showed {k-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for three sevens to take the pot.
