Final Table Action

Once the bubble burst it took only 30 minutes to secure the eight-handed official final table. The action got off to a hot start when Arian "4632647" Stolt moved all in with ace-ten and ran into the ace-king for Jason "TheBigGift" Gooch. The board ran out ace-high but the king kicker scored the pot for Gooch and Stolt was eliminated in eighth place.

Nick "CashUsKlay" Schulman became short and moved in on an eight-high flop with jack-six and was called by the king-seven for Strauss. Schulman was sent out in seventh place when the board didnt improve his hand.

A few hands later, Stephen "8betfold" Song picked up ace-three suited and moved his last chips in the middle preflop but ran into the pocket aces for Ausmus. Song couldnt find any help and was sent to the rail in sixth place.

Craig "mrjanovich" Mason found himself in a flip situation with pocket threes against the ace-nine for Gooch. When the board flopped an ace, Mason couldnt find any improvement on the turn or river and was eliminated in fifth place.

Four-handed play went back and forth for a while until Michael "Unbelievable" Wang moved all in with ace-ten and was called by the king-jack suited for Gooch. The flop gave Gooch the nut-flush and Wang was sent out in fourth place.

A short while later, Gooch and Strauss played in a big pot on the river on a nine-high board. Strauss put Gooch all in and after a long decision, Gooch made the call. Strauss rolled over queen-nine for top pair and Gooch was sent to the rail when his jack-nine fell short.
