You Guessed It...Another Wheel

Level 20
Shaun Deeb
Shaun Deeb

"Come on Stinger!" said Eric Wasserson with Brian Hastings still to act after the third draw. His opponent was Shaun Deeb.

"Is it collusion if other players are rooting against me?" Deeb asked the floor.

Hastings then bet and Deeb then raised. Hastings eventually mucked.

"Show the bluff," said Wasserson, but Deeb could only table {7-}{5-}{4-}{3-}{2-}

"How joyous must it be to get bet into with a wheel," said Wasserson.

"How joyous to make a wheel and have you rooting against me," replied Deeb.

Johnson Gets There

Level 20

Marco Johnson opened on the button and Eric Wasserson called out of the small blind.

Both players took two cards on the first draw. Wasserson then checked to Johnson, who continued his aggression with a bet. Wasserson made the call to send the two players to the second draw.

On the second draw, Wasserson again took two while Johnson drew just one. Wasserson checked for a second time and Johnson, in no mood to slow down, threw out a bet. Almost before the chips hit the felt, Wasserson announced call.

Wasserson stood pat on the final draw and checked to Johnson after he took one. Johnson considered for a moment before firing off a third barrel. Wasserson called but was shown {7-}{6-}{5-}{4-}{2-} by Johnson, who had outdrawn his opponent.

Zack Wins Three-Way Pot

Level 20

Eric Wasserson opened under the gun and was three-bet by Daniel Zack on the button. Brian Hastings called out of the small blind as did Wasserson to send the action three-way to the initial draw.

Hastings took two on the first draw while Wasserson and Zack each drew one. Action then checked through to the second draw where the same drawing pattern was repeated. Action was checked to Zack, who led out. His bet was enough to get Hastings to fold but Wasserson was not yet prepared to let go of his hand.

Wasserson drew one on the final draw and then checked to Zack after he stood pat. Zack checked behind and tabled {8-}{7-}{6-}{4-}{2-}. Wasserson mucked and Zack scooped a sizable pot.
