Welcome to Day 1a of the 2022 WSOP Event #37: $1,500 Millionaire Maker No-Limit Hold'em
The 2022 World Series of Poker in its new home at Bally��s and Paris Las Vegas will kick off its annual millionaire-maker event, Event #37: $1,500 Millionaire Maker No-Limit Hold'em this morning at 10 a.m. local time.
Last year's event attracted a field of 5,330 entrants, who generated a prize pool of $3,428,280. The winner of this event is guaranteed a cash of at least $1,000,000.
Last year, it was Daniel Lazrus who took home $1,000,000 and the WSOP bracelet, his second of that year. Lazrus defeated Darryl Ronconi in heads-up play to take home the hardware.
Today is the first of two starting flights, with Day 1b slated to begin at 10 a.m. local time tomorrow. Day 1a will consist of 11 levels of play, each lasting 60 minutes. A 20-minute break is scheduled after every second level, with a 75-minute break after Level 8, expected to be around 7:00 p.m. local time.
After the dinner break, late registration will close. Players may reenter once per flight and will start with 25,000 chips. Level 1 blinds start at 100/100 with a 100 big blind ante.
