Shock Stands Pat Against Hughes

Level 1

Badugi

Nicholas Shock was involved in a three-way pot with two-time bracelet winner Ryan Hughes. Hughes drew two on the first draw and bet 200. Shock took one and called, as did the third player.

On the second draw, Hughes bet 500 after taking one and Shock raised to 1,000. The third player folded and Hughes called.

Hughes took one again on the third draw while Shock stood pat, then threw out a yellow 1,000 chip. Hughes quickly called but mucked when Shock showed {j-Spades}{8-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} for a badugi to take the pot.
