Fuchs Folds; Lives Chops, & Whitaker Among the Early Day 2 Casualties
![Christian Zetzsche](https://pnimg.net/w/editors/2/648/22d2b2ed9b.jpeg)
Carol Fuchs was in the big blind and defended against an open raise and a call. On the flop, Fuchs check-called and then check-folded the
turn when Brian Lives bet again and Sirous Baghchehsaraie called. After the
river, Lives check-called the all-in of his table neighbor and they chopped it with
(Aces-up) versus
(nut low).
One hand later, Jeffrey Whitaker was all-in from the cutoff and earned calls on the button and big blind. The big blind got it in after the flop and was called by Michael Chow.
Jeffrey Whitaker: (one pair and straight draw)
Big blind: (bigger pair, flopped nut low with straight draw)
Michael Chow: (flopped flush)
The turn and
river were already meaningless as Whitaker's elimination was confirmed on the turn, while the big blind escaped for half the pot with the nut low.
