Schuster Almost Has Quads, Ends Up With Full House
Big O
"Put this online. Take a picture," tablemate Kao "Flexx" Saechao said as James Schuster was all in before the flop on a short stack. Mark Erickson in early position had him at risk.
The board read K?Q?Q?A?10? and Erickson turned over K?8?3?3?2? for the running flush. Schuster, though, had A?A?A?10?10? for the full house. "He thinks he's playing five-card," Saechao joked as Schuster had three aces in his hand to go with the one on the board.
The next hand, Schuster raised to 1,300 and received two calls from Bob Mather and Erickson. All three players checked the K?5?8? flop before Erickson bet 2,300 on the J? turn.
Only Mather called to see the 3? river, where Erickson, who finished sixth in this event last year, won the pot with a bet of 8,000.
