With Day 1 of Event #59: $3,000 No-Limit Hold'em Freezeout at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas 2023 World Series of Poker having drawn to its conclusion last night, 240 of the 1,598 entrants will be advancing for the start of Day 2 play today. This field amassed a prize pool of $4,266,660 with the eventual winner taking home a top prize of $675,275 and a coveted gold WSOP bracelet. The money bubble bursting marked the end of last night's play, ensuring all remaining players were in the money and have already secured themselves a minimum cash of $4,812.
Coming into Day 2 with the chip lead is Robert Kuhn who is starting with 1,410,000 chips. Kuhn secured his lead by quite a margin as the player following behind him is Giorgiy Skhulukhiya with a healthy stack of 999,000. Other big stacks include Juan Duenas with 967,000 and Ryan Leng with 874,000.
