Guitter's Stack Bigger Than Ever
Level 7
: Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Chipleader of the Horseshoe part of the tournament before the dinner break, Christian Guittier extended his lead since to 280,000 chips. "I have a full house on every hand", he said to justify his stack.
And when he doesn't have a good hand, he still gets lucky. For example, he was in the small blind when the cutoff limped. The button did the same, so Guittier limped as well. But the big blind decided to raise to 3,000. The cutoff called, as did Guittier, but the button folded.
On the flop 7?2?3?, the big blind continued with a bet of 4,000. The cutoff folded. And after ten seconds, Guittier also threw his cards into the muck too. It was a very good decision because the big blind showed pocket aces.
