Curiosity Did Not Kill the Cat
When PokerNews arrived at the table the conversation was all about killing the cat and referring to a player that was playing too many hands. This player actually folded on this one so he got away after the flop.
The player under the gun raised to 400 and received a call from the cutoff. The small blind Jason Coursey had other ideas and three-bet to 1,000. The big blind, the player under the gun and the cutoff all called. The flop arrived with 5?8?Q? and Coursey made a continuation bet of 1,400. The big blind called and everyone else folded.
The turn brought the Q? and Coursey bet 4,000 and the big blind called again.
On the river 10? Coursey continued with the aggression and bet 6,000 and the big blind made the third call and mucked when Coursey turned over the cowboys K?K? and won with his two pair.
