The 2023 World Series of Poker is drawing to a close at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas, but the action isn't slowing down as a new champion takes the gold tonight in Event #92: $1,000 Freezeout No-Limit Holdem .

Day 1 saw a total of 1,710 entries, generating a prize pool of $1,521,900. Only 124 players remain as the day begins, with all players guaranteed a minimum cash of $2,134. However, all eyes are on the grand prize of $236,741 and the WSOP gold bracelet.

Ian Steinman leads the field of contenders with 883,000 and is closely followed by a fierce competitor in the person of Dylan WIlkerson, with no less than $3.7 million in live winnings.

Russian Nikolai Tulin completes the top three with 646,000 while the phenomenon Bin Weng, who has won more than $5 million in live poker in 2023 alone, also found a spot in the top rankings with a stack worth 611,000.
