Chad Eveslage opened from middle position before Louis Hillman three-bet out of the big blind. Eveslage responded with a four-bet and Hillman pushed his remaining chips, as well as a Luigi racecar figurine, into the middle to put himself at risk.

It was a race but one that Hillman and Luigi were not able to win as the board ran out Q?10?4?Q?6? to bring the tournament down to the final ten players while sending Hillman to the rail in 11th place.

Renan Bruschi was left short after losing a hand to John Racener just one hand before. Max Coleman raised in middle position, before Bruschi put in a three-bet in the hijack. When it folded back to Coleman, he then put in the four-bet to put Bruschi all in, who called.

Picking up the action on the turn, Nick Schulman in the small blind was involved in a hand with Chad Eveslage in the cutoff.

With the board reading 3?6?K?9? Schulman moved all in and Eveslage called to put his opponent at risk.

Schulman was ahead with his pair of kings but the 10x river improved Eveslage to a straight to send Schulman out in 13th courtesy of a bad beat.

Chad Eveslage opened from middle position and, after lengthy consideration, Dan Shak three-bet out of the small blind, leaving himself just 5,000 behind. Action folded back to Eveslage who called and, mistakenly thinking Shak was all in, turned over Q?J?.

The flop came 6?K?6?, prompting Shak to go deep into the tank. Eventually, with a sigh and a declamatory "I am drawing almost dead" Shak tossed his last chip into the middle. Eveslage quickly called.

Shak was indeed drawing thin and found no help on either the 10? turn or A? river to bring his tournament to a close in 14th place.

Racener Turns a Flush for the Double

Maxx Coleman raised in middle position and when action folded to the big blind John Racener, he made the call.

The flop came J?5?2? and Racener checked to Coleman, who made a bet. Racner then went for a raise, leaving just 10,000 chips behind. Coleman put in a three-bet to move Racener all in, who made the call.

Racener was behind but did have a flush draw to beat the kings of Coleman. Racener wouldn't have to wait long to see his flush come in as the turn was the 4?.

Despite Racener making the flush, Coleman did have to king of spades in his hand to possibly make a higher flush.

However, the river was the 6? to secure the double up for Racener.

Host of Bracelet Winners Return for Day 3 of Event #19: $10,000 Limit Hold'em Championship

The third and final day of Event #19: $10,000 Limit Hold'em Championship at the 2024 World Series of Poker at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas sees 14 players return from a starting field of 133, all vying for the $308,930 top prize and WSOP gold bracelet.

Two time bracelet winner Marco Johnson currently leads the field with 1,100,000, the only stack north of the one million mark. He is joined by a whole host of other bracelet winners, including Maxx Coleman (630,000), the winner of this event in 2019 Juha Helppi (525,000) and Brazilian pro Renan Bruschi (430,000). In fact, nine of those retaking their seat today have at least one bracelet to their name, which should make for some intense competition.

Other players still in contention include Louis Hillman (575,000), who will be looking to improve on his 5th place finish in 2023, as well as high roller regular Dan Shak (295,000).

Play resumes at 1:00 p.m. local time in the Horseshoe Event Center with blinds picking up in Level 18 at 10,000/20,000 with limits of 20,000/40,000.
