Day 1c of The Monster Stack is in the Bag
The third and final day of Event #38: $1,500 Monster Stack has concluded here at the 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP) at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas. As expected, Day 1c was the busiest of the three flights, with 3,468 entering and 1,147 bagging up chips at the close of play.
According to the WSOP, the total attendance for this event stands at 8,703, with 2,831 players returning to the tables on Day 2. The turnout, prize pool, and payouts will be confirmed during the early stages of Day 2.

Frenchman Julian Millard-Feral claimed the Day 1c overnight chip lead after turning his 50,000 starting stack into 651,500 over the course of 11 levels. That colossal stack is worth 217 big blinds at the restart.
Michael Estes (585,500) and Marc Bernal (555,500) round out the podium positions. Estes already has five cashes at the 2024 WSOP, and cashed in this event in 2021, finishing 360th from a field of 3,520.
Of all the superstar players, bracelet winners, and $25K Fantasy Draft picks, Brian Yoon (415,5000) performed the best, and finished Day 1c in the top 25.
Other Day 1c survivors to look out for when PokerNews' traditional coverage begins on Day 2 include Jeremy Ausmus (382,000), Arthur Morris (354,500), Chris Hunichen (279,000), recent addition to the three bracelet club Timur Margolin (276,500), Mustapha Kanit (206,500), and Barry Greenstein (146,000).
Play resumes at 11:00 a.m. local time on June 16, with players going into Level 12. This means blinds will be 1,500/3,000 with a 3,000 big blind antes. Play will continue for ten levels, with a 15 minute break every two levels. A 60-minute dinner break is scheduled at the end of Level 17, which be around 5:30 p.m. local time.
