Last year's Deepstack Championship drew 4,303 entrants for a prize pool of $2,194,530 as Canada's David Guay defeated John S Taylor for $271,032 and his first WSOP bracelet.

"I'm definitely going to be more emotional later," Guay told PokerNews after the win. "I'm going to call my mom soon to let her know."
