Seiver Over-Bets Mercier

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 3,500 ante

Scott Seiver made it 7,000 to go in the hijack and Jason Mercier defended his big blind. Each player drew one and Mercier checked to Seiver.

Seiver made a bet of 28,000 and this sent Mercier into the tank.

"Why so big, Scott? What is this?" Seiver asked his opponent. Seiver said nothing until Mercier finally tossed in a call.

"You got it," he stated, and Mercier tabled 10x8x6x4x3x for the winning hand.
