Reed Bluffs as Big Stack; Morris Gets Into Argument
Charlie Reed and the player on the button were involved in a pot of 45,000 chips on a flop of 4?10?4?. Reed made a bet of 12,000 chips and was swiftly called by his opponent.
Reed then sized up to 30,000 on the 8? turn, and this time the button took a bit longer. After some minutes, Arthur Morris warned the button that he was going to call the clock after another minute would pass.
The button was not happy with Morris' action, stating: "You can call the clock whenever you want, but don't talk to me in the middle of a hand."
Morris apparently changed his mind after the reaction of the button, and immediately called for time. The button was given thirty seconds to act and folded near the end of his countdown.
Reed showed Q?7?, but the button seemed not even to notice as he and Morris argued some further, with other players at the table chiming in as well.
