Two Pair Over Two Pair Sends Vogelsang Out

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Christoph Vogelsang and Damian Elias were heads-up blind-versus-blind on a flop of Q?8?3?.

Elias checked from the small blind and Vogelsang bet 31,000. Elias then check-raised to 135,000 and Vogelsang went deep into the tank. The clock was eventually called and Vogelsang called with about five seconds left to act.

The 4? fell on the turn and Elias quickly announced he was all in, which was enough to put Vogelsang all in for his last 125,000.

Vogelsang again tanked long enough for the clock to be called. Vogelsang committed the rest of his chips with one second left to act.

Christoph Vogelsang: 8?3?All in
Damian Elias: Q?8?

The river bricked out and Vogelsang wished his tablemates good luck as he exited the tournament area.

Vazquez Vanquishes Vierling

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Christoph Csik made it 12,000 from middle position. On his direct left, Jessica Vierling three-bet to 40,000. Luis Vazquez called in the hijack and Csik also called to make it three-way to the flop.

The flop came J?9?7?. Vierling jammed all in, Vazquez called and Csik got out of the way.

Jessica Vierling: Q?Q? All in
Luis Vazquez: A?Q?

Vierling would need to fade clubs but she would be unable to do so as the 2? binked off instantly on the turn. The river was the 8? as a formality.

Vierling put her hands on her head in disappointment, clearly crushed that her main event dream had been dashed and she walked away from the tables.

Danny Tang: K?K?

The flop landed 8?Q?4? putting the button in the lead with a set of queens, however, Tang had extra outs to a flush to take the pot. The K? peeled on the turn and Tang made a superior set. The 5? river saw Tang best both his opponents, sending each of them to the rail.
