Attiyah and Hunichen Dont Care About the Bubble

Level 14 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

According to the players, Ray Attiyah raised from the button preflop and Chris Hunichen three-bet from the big blind. Attiyah, who was not particularly deep to start the hand, called. Before the dealer dealt the flop, Attiyah said: I dont care about the bubble. Hunichen responded: Neither do I.

The flop was J?10?J? and Hunichen continued for a bet of around 30,000. Attiyah raised all in for 40,000 total and Hunichen called.

Ray Attiyah: J?9?8?2?All in
Chris Hunichen: A?Q?9?6?

Hunichen turned over his hand first and Attiyah told him he was in bad shape. Indeed, Hunichen only had running cards to improve to a flush or better trips. The turn was the J?, however, ending the hand by giving Attiyah quads. The river was the meaningless 2?. Attiyah doubled-up and also survived the bubble.
