Aaron Mermelstein raised to 100,000 under the gun. Cassandra Yong three-bet shoved from middle position for 515,000 and when it folded back to Mermelstein, he made the call to put Yong at risk.
Cassandra Yong : A?A?
Aaron Mermelstein : A?8?
The runout of 3?7?5?3?2? improved Yong to the nut flush, earning her a double up at the expense of Mermelstein.

Action was caught on the flop of 4?J?8?. Adi Dahari in the small blind led for 75,000 and Matthew OBrien called.
The turn was the A? and Dahari bet again, this time 100,000. OBrien raised to 275,000 and Dahari called.
The river was the J? and Dahari put OBrien all in for 450,000. OBrien shook his had and sighed a bit, not very happy to see the bet, but decided to call.
Dahari turned over A?10? for aces and jacks. OBrien turned over A?K? for the same two pair, but his kicker played and he took down the big pot for the double-up.

Ronald Sims limped in from middle position. Tommy Nguyen called from the small blind and the big blind checked.
Nguyen led out for 50,000 on the 10?A?8? flop and only Sims called.
The 2? turn got checked through for the 10? to come on the river. Nguyen bet 50,000 again and was met by a raise to 300,000 from Sims. Nguyen thought for a few moments before folding his hand and forfeiting the pot to Sims.

Life Outside Poker is a new podcast for PokerNews hosted by Connor Richards that seeks to pull back the curtain on poker players and allow viewers and listeners to get to know them on a personal level.
In the 12th episode, Connor speaks with actress and conservationist Shannon Elizabeth on the 25th anniversary of American Pie, in which she played the iconic role of Nadia. Elizabeth talked about her roles in films like Scary Movie and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, playing poker with the cast of That '70s Show, finishing third in the 2007 NBC National Heads-Up Poker Championship and taking part in Phil Hellmuth's 2024 WSOP Main Event entrance.
Elizabeth also spoke about her conservation efforts in South Africa through the Shannon Elizabeth Foundation, including caring for and providing a sanctuary for a blind black rhino named Munu.
The Life Outside Poker podcast is available on major streaming platforms including Apple Podcasts, Spotify and iHeartRadio. You can also watch the interview with Shannon Elizabeth by heading to the PokerNews YouTube channel.
The 153 remaining players are on a 15-minute break.
