Shulman Doubles With Cowboys

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

When we saw Barry Shulman calling Brian Pinkus' 3,500 bet on the {7-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{7-Clubs} flop, we sticked around. There was yet another player involved in the pot, and he made a key factor in the story as he opted to check-raise for 10,000 total. Pinkus folded but Shulman had other plans. He matched the bet.

The turn brought the {A-Hearts} and the drama continued as Shulman's opponent declared all-in. Shulman snap-called, turning over {K-Hearts}{K-Spades} for a flopped full house. His rival had {7-Spades}{6-Diamonds} and could only hope for the remaining seven in the deck. The river card was, however, the {J-Spades} and Shulman scored a full double up worth 32,300. "I had a king, too, Barry," admitted Pinkus, who's teamed up with his dad Michael.
