Michel Halioua raised to 2,400 from the button, Dan Smith three-bet to 9,500 from the big blind, and Halioua called.

The flop came down {Q-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Spades}, and Smith continued for 7,000. Halioua raised to 17,000, Smith called, and the {K-Spades} fell on the turn. Smith checked to Halioua, who bet 26,000. After a few moments, Smith check-raised to 75,000. Halioua called to see the {2-Diamonds} on the river, and Smith shoved with a slightly larger stack.

Halioua called all in for about 65,000 after about three seconds, but he mucked instantly when Smith tabled {J-Spades}{9-Spades} for a flush to win the pot, defeat Halioua, and become the first player to make the money.
