Onur Unsal Eliminated in 10th Place ($39,719)

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante
Onur Unsal
Onur Unsal

With about 300,000 already in the middle of a {j-Clubs}{8-Spades}{3-Diamonds} board, Onur Unsal bet 180,000, and Steve Sung check-called.

The {5-Clubs} came on the turn and Sung took the lead, betting 250,000. Unsal called. The {4-Clubs} completed the board on the river and Sung slid a bet of 700,000 forward.

Unsal went deep into the tank. After a few moments, Unsal looked at Sung and asked, "Ace-high is good right?" Sung didn't flinch.

Another few moments went by and, eventually, Unsal slid his stack forward. Sung quickly tabled {9-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for a back-door flush and Unsal tossed his {a-}{q-Diamonds} into the muck. Unsal banks $39,719 for his 10th-place finish.

Chris Moorman Doubles Through Max Silver

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante
Chris Moorman
Chris Moorman

It folded to Chris Moorman in the small blind and he completed. Max Silver in the big blind raised to 70,000. Moorman called and they saw a flop of {A-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{2-Clubs}. Moorman checked, Silver bet 75,000, and Moormon called.

The turn was the {A-Spades} and Moorman checked. Silver bet 200,000 and, after a long pause, Moorman called.

The river was the {5-Hearts} and Moorman checked once more. Silver looked at Mormon's stack and, after a short time, moved all in for 630,000 effective.

Moorman did not look thrilled but, after about a minute, he called.

Silver showed {K-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} for jack-high and Moorman's {A-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} for trip aces with a ten kicker was good. He doubled up and these two have basically swapped positions in the counts.

Michael Gagliano Turns a Flush Against Julien Martini

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

On a flop of {K-Spades}{Q-Spades}{9-Clubs}, Michael Gagliano was in the big blind and check-called a bet from Julien Martini in the cutoff.

They both checked the {10-Spades} turn and the river was the {9-Diamonds}. Gagliano bet out 125,000 and Martini called.

Gagliano had {A-Spades}{7-Spades} for the nut flush which was good against Martini's {J-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for trip nines.

Max Silver Gets Some Back

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Just after he doubled up Julien Martini, Max Silver got some chips back.

Silver raised to 52,000 in middle position and John Gorsuch defended his big blind.

The flop was {8-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{3-Diamonds} and Gorsuch bet out 52,000. Silver called and the turn was the {9-Spades}. They both checked.

On the {Q-Diamonds} river, Gorsuch bet 80,000 and Silver called.

Gorsuch announced, "Ace-high," and showed {A-Diamonds}{2-Spades}, which was no good against Silver's {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades} for top pair with top kicker.
