Hands #142-146: Raina Scores a Double

Hand #142: Gaurav Raina limped and James Calvo checked from the big blind. Calvo then led out 275,000 on the {9-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop and took down the first pot of the day.

Hand #143: Calvo limped and Raina checked his options. The flop {5-Spades}{6-Hearts}{4-Hearts} brought a check from Raina and Calvo fired 275,000 again. Raina folded.

Hand #144: Raina called from the small blind once again, but mucked after Calvo had placed in extra 400,000.

Hand #145: Just as in all previous hands, the player on the button limped. This time, it was Calvo, but Raina in the big blind had other plans and raised to 400,000. Calvo let it go.

Hand #146: It started with a limp and check, but the action heated up on the flop {K-Spades}{2-Spades}{7-Hearts}. Calvo led out 275,000 for a pot-sized bet and Raina responded with a raise to 800,000. Calvo announced he was all in and Raina snap-called for his 3,495,000.

Gaurav Raina: {K-Hearts}{2-Clubs}
James Calvo: {9-Spades}{4-Spades}

Raina had flopped two pairs but Calvo hoped for a third spade to finish the tournament. The turn {Q-Diamonds} and river {Q-Hearts}, however, played according to Raina's notes, and Raina scored a full double to take the lead early into Day 4.
