Sorel Mizzi Triples Up With a King on the River

Level 24 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante
Sorel Mizzi
Sorel Mizzi

Sorel Mizzi just tripled up thanks to a king on the river in a three-way pot.

JC Tran raised under the gun and Mizzi three-bet from the button. Jared Talarico four-bet from the small blind and Tran and Mizzi both called. Mizzi was all in for less with the call.

The flop came {j-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and Talarico bet. Tran called. The turn was the {7-Spades} and Talarico bet again. Tran raised and Talarico was already calling before Tran's chips hit the felt. He turned over {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and Tran had {5-Clubs}{5-Spades}. Mizzi showed {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} and was getting up from his chair to leave the tournament until the {k-Spades} hit the river, giving him the better full house.

Talarico earned the side pot and Mizzi won the main pot.
