Hands #73-78: Boivin Rolls On

Level 9 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #73: Ben Maya raised from the big blind, and Tim West folded his small blind after limping.

Hand #74: Thomas Boivin got a walk.

Hand #75: Maya raised the button, and West defended the big blind. It was checked all the way down through the river of the {j-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{4-Clubs} board, and West showed {j-Hearts}{4-Hearts} to win with a pair.

Hand #76: Boivin raised, winning the blinds and antes.

Hand #77: West limped the button, and it was a family flop of {j-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}. Maya bet 150,000, with just Boivin calling. The {3-Hearts} on the turn saw Maya check-call a 350,000-chip bet from Boivin. The river was the {7-Hearts}, and May checked again. A Boivin bet of 500,000 had Maya thinking for a couple minutes, but he laid it down.

Hand #78: It was limped preflop, and on a {4-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop, a bet from Boivin took another pot.
