Pot-Limit Omaha

Ryan Laplante opened the action and raised to 26,000 from under the gun. Rick Alvarado was in the small blind and three-bet to 90,000. Laplante called.

The flop came {q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and Alvarado counted his remaining stack and moved all in for his last 105,000. Laplante tossed in a single chip to call, basically beating him into the pot.

Alvarado was at risk with {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{q-Spades}{q-Clubs} for top set, and Laplante tabled {a-Spades}{7-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for a flush.

The turn was the {k-Spades} and the river was the {4-Diamonds}. Alvarado was unable to fill up and was sent to the rail in 15th place for $9,998. Laplante continued to add to his mountain of chips and still sits as the chip leader.
