Hirst Hits Lynde Before the Break

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

In the last hand before the break, Dylan Linde shoved for 404,000 from under the gun. Everyone folded to Aaron Hirst in the big blind, who called all in for 218,000 after mulling it over for a minute.

Aaron Hirst: {A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}
Dylan Linde: {4-Hearts}{4-Spades}

Hirst hit the jack he needed on the {K-Spades}{J-Hearts}{8-Clubs} flop. The {Q-Clubs} turn and {K-Diamonds} river didn't help Lynde, who had to fork over more than half his stack.

Yiannis Liperis moved all in from the hijack for 312,000. It folded to Phong Nguyen in the big blind.

"I'm not sure if I want to flip for this much," he said, but eventually he called.

Yiannis Liperis: {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}
Phong Nguyen: {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}

The board ran out {q-Spades}{k-Spades}{j-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} and the set for Nguyen eliminated Liperis in 12th place for $13,242

Cristiano Guerra Eliminated in 13th Place ($10,432)

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

After being left crippled in the big hand against Ognjen Sekularac, Cristiano Guerra shoved a couple of times in a row to pick up some blinds and antes.

This time, Guerra shoved for 181,000, and Joseph Liberta reshoved from the small blind.

Cristiano Guerra: {A-Clubs}{2-Hearts}
Joseph Liberta: {K-Spades}{J-Hearts}

The {A-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop all but sealed it for Guerra, who had a near mortal lock on the hand. Liberta picked up some outs when the {10-Spades} landed on the turn, however, which gave him an inside straight draw.

Sure enough, the {Q-Hearts} landed on the river to improve Liberta to Broadway and end Guerra's run in cruel fashion. The Italian received $10,432 for his 13th-place finish.

Anton Bertilsson: {10-Clubs}{8-Spades}
Ognjen Sekularac: {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}

The turn was the {5-Spades} and Sekularac celebrated loudly as he counterfeited his opponent. The river was the {6-Clubs} and Bertilsson was eliminated in 14th place for $10,432.

The board read {4-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}, Dylan Linde checked from the under-the-gun position, so did Alex Foxen from the cutoff with there already being about 330,000 in the pot.

The turn gave them the {9-Spades}. Linde bet 120000 and Foxen called.

The {K-Hearts} on the river completed the board,. After taking his time to take a decision, Linde decided to bet 240,000. Foxen called. Linde showed {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades} for a pair of queens. Foxen showed {K-Spades}{K-Clubs} for an overpair, though, and claimed the pot.
